How do I participate in auctions
Start by registering as a customer with us (customers from Håkan Ottosson AB need to register again) via the 'Customer Registration' button. We will then send you an email with your login details, which you confirm by clicking the link in the email. After that, use your login details to log in to hoabauktioner.se and participate in the auctions.
Before biding:RegistationMake sure you are registered and logged in to the auction site before the auction starts. Without an account, you cannot place bids. If you need to register, you can do so by clicking here. Check Condition Before AuctionWe always offer our potential buyers a viewing before the auction. Take the opportunity to inspect the condition, specifications, and any notes. If you have questions about an item, contact the seller in good time before the scheduled auction to get your queries answered. Remember that all items are used and sold as-is. It is the buyer's responsibility to conduct a thorough inspection before the auction to assess the condition of the item. The seller is solely responsible for all information about the item, as well as for any errors or deficiencies. View the Items During the ViewingIf possible, visit the physical viewing of the items to see the condition and details for yourself. The dates and times for viewings are provided in the auction information under each item. Set a Maximum BidKeep a clear budget in mind and stick to it. Bidding can go quickly, so it's good to be prepared. Automatic BiddingFeel free to use our automatic bidding feature, where you can set a maximum bid, and the system will bid for you up to your limit. Bids are BindingBids are binding and cannot be undone by the buyer. If the reserve price is not met, bids will not revert at the end of the auction. VAT and feesIn order to have the right to an exemption from Swedish VAT - Buyers within the EU pay the entire invoice amount including VAT after the auction has ended. Since the object has been exported to another EU country and upon presentation of a valid VAT number, the buyer has the right to recover the VAT amount. The buyer must present a valid export certificate within 10 days to be entitled to a refund. Any additional fees are listed under each item. These are specified in the auction terms. Pickup and TransportMake sure you have a plan for picking up the items you win. Transport and loading of larger machines may require special equipment or shipping arrangements. We at HOAB Auctions currently do not offer logistics solutions for arranging pickup and transport. Payment TermsCheck which payment methods are accepted and be sure to follow the payment deadlines to avoid fees or cancellation of the purchase. After the AuctionOnce the auction concludes, you will receive a confirmation for the items you have won. Read the instructions carefully to ensure smooth pickup. ClaimsThe buyer should promptly report any hidden defects to the seller, but no later than 8 days from the pickup date. After the AuctionPaymentA proforma invoice will be sent to the winner as soon as possible after the auction ends. Please notify us immediately if anything needs to be changed or if there are any obvious errors by emailing linus@hoabauktioner.se or calling 0708-219888. The invoice must be paid, and the funds must be in the specified account before the items can be picked up. Pick upPickup will take place on the specified date or by agreement with the seller. The pickup instructions are provided under each item. HOAB Auctions does not have its own warehouse, so you will pick up the items directly from the seller’s location. The invoice you received by email after payment must be brought with you during pickup. The buyer is responsible for arranging the pickup and any disassembly of the item.
